Amazing resort

The accommodation was truly stunning. We got upgraded to a premium room and the room was huge and the beds were extremely comfortable. There was a large TV and great WiFi. (The TV didn’t connect to the internet properly for apps but we just watched the channels). The shower was a huge rain shower. There was a terrace which had lovely views of the sunrise. The food selection in the restaurants was amazing. The drinks and the cocktails were also great. There were 10 or so pools which were all great. The beach was also lovely and there was an area for snorkelling. The hotel is not quite finished so not everything was open yet, but what’s open already was more than fine. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. When we arrived it was just before the end of lunchtime, and they took us straight to one of the restaurants on a golf cart so that we could eat before we got to our room. We got food poisoning shortly after arriving here (not sure from where) but the staff arranged free transfer to the next resort over where we went to the doctor and the driver waited for us for almost two hours when we were receiving care. (I think there will be a clinic on site but this hadn’t opened yet)

Nothing! The hotel is 30km from Marsa Alam so there’s not really anything around, but we knew that before arriving and there is so much to see and do onsite that we didn’t mind. However we only stayed 2 nights, if you’re staying for a longer time this might be relevant.

Unexpectedly pleasant stay.Really liked the hotel.

The food was really good. Comfy bed. We had a swim up room, no twin beds available. But there is a sofa bed as well. Free minibar, separate big shower and toilette.All necessary toiletries like soap, shampoos, shower gel, body milk, hair conditioner, shaving kit and toothbrush.Very quiet , big area,. very big and long beach. No problem with deckchairs on the brach and around the pool ( we were there during the soft opening do I don't know how it will be when the open fully). Diving center with 3 m deep pool for training. Good big bathroom towels. Free airport shuttle. Very nice view from the room. Umbrella in front of your swim up giving enough shade-( In Jaz Amara there were none and there ws nowhere to hide from the sun). In general the area is not noisy and it's relaxing. Many pools.

problem with hot water in the shower, low pressure and one day there was only cold water. Wifi sucks.Would be good to have deckchairs in frot of the pool in the swim ups - instead of the chairs. There are deckchairs half immersed in the pool but if you get too cold there is nowhere to lie down. Also it would be very nice to have a little partition between the sim up pools to give one more privacy. There is reef all along the beach, you can try to go in wearing shoes but the sea bottom is uneven, for snorkeling and those who can swim there is a pier you can use. Also watching fish from the pier is very nice.

Incredible facilities and beautiful location for a very good price

Hotel was brilliant. However, the medical services are appalling - wife went to the clinic for an infected cut. The "doctor" wanted 120 euros just to look at it and then would have charged more for treatment. The hotel is very remote so there are no pharmacies nearby. We waited two days and went to a pharmacy in Hurgharda where we got a cream that dealt with the infection for 1 euro.

A new hotel with extremely pleasant areas, excellent infrastructure, and always clean pools. The room was huge, very clean, and comfortable! It was deeply peaceful and quiet, allowing us to have excellent nights of sleep. Compared to other hotels in Egypt, the buffet was certainly superior. The staff was very kind and attentive, especially the two Ahmeds, the elder and the younger, from the international buffet restaurant on the right side.

The beach is nice, although the hotel could be more attentive to its cleanliness, and access to swimming is only allowed via the pier. The hotel is enormous, and even though we are young and active, there aren't enough caddies, which sometimes made the experience a bit tiring. Some areas, like the jacuzzi, close very early. Unfortunately, we occasionally felt a less friendly attitude from some staff members, possibly due to understaffing compared to the number of guests! Although we enjoyed our experience and feel it was suited to the price we paid, we believe there is still a long way to go before it becomes a five-star hotel. Small details in the room and investment in staff training are needed. There is no entertainment at the hotel, either at night or during the day. For us, this was an advantage, as we have stayed at hotels with loud music on the beach, so it was a relief to find that serenity is preserved here. However, we believe this might be an issue for the target audience vacationing in Egypt. Overall, we are satisfied, although at times we felt a bit left on our own in such a large space without much attention to detail. We hope to return in the future to see the changes and improvements! :)

Exceptional

It was one of the most remarkable experiences we've ever had. The room was superb, with a stunning view. The entire staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, and the food was beyond exceptional. Both the pools and the sea added to the amazing experience.

Nothing actually, we initially had some concerns due to the hotel's soft opening; however, it exceeded our expectations, and we would be delighted to return soon. We hope it maintains this exceptional level of service.

wonderful Hotel. wonderful Staff. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. The food was amazing quality and taste. the variety at the buffets was amazing. The Hotel is direclty on the Reef. There is a long jetty, that you can use to access the deep water where you can snorcle or a more shallow part, where you can observe the fish while standing. It was a great stay. Thank you Sentido Staff and Management

the Hotel is very big. you move between places with a golfcart. The Hotel is appr. 1,5h from Marsa Alam airport. there is a free shuttle bus

Memorable Stay

The whole staff was amazing from the Front desk to the drivers to the cleaners to the waiters and gym trainer without talking about the managers the cooks from the bars or restaurants. We felt home , welcomed . Real family environment. The hotel is huge , beautiful, clean and well organised. Thank you to all the Amr , so many of them but all amazing. Our Gym trainer , Kyrillos from the front desk . We will remember each individual from this hotel. Highly recomended !

What was the highlight of Sentido Reef Oasis Suakin Resort

Beautiful resort with a stunning coral reef and excellent diving school

The food in the restaurants was very good except for the "a la carte" dining which was actually not as good as the buffets. The locations and decor at the "a la carte" restaurants were however very nice. The sports and spa (jacuzzi and sauna) were outstanding. There were lots of lovely pools but sadly only one was heated, which is essential during "winter" season. Animations were stretching, yoga and aqua gym and were nice. The coral reef was just stunning with dozens of different fish more beautiful one than the other and all that could be enjoyed by snorkelling from the peer. The diving school was also amazing with all brand new equipment & facilities and a lovely professional and caring team of trainers. With the hotel still not at full capacity due to its recent opening its the best time ever to enjoy small groups and mostly private diving classes at reasonable prices. They also organised very good outings to local sea attractions and beaches.

The choice of music and volume definitely needs to be reviewed urgently if they so not wish to loose customers hoping to rest in their poolside rooms and exposed to all day disco music played at ridiculous volumes. The choice of music has obviously been left to one or two young and enthusiastic budding disk jockeys completely oblivious to the fact that the guests were mostly 50+ and that everyone got up and moved away when the music started to blare. No use alerting the reception located at the top entrance of the resort and totally ignorant and agnostic to all that was going on below. The in-land excursions proposed were also of very poor quality with high prices and mini buses in dangerously poor condition, no head lights (despite returning after nightfall) very uncomfortable and barely still road worthy. Not to speak about the add-on expenses with a tag along photographer etc. The exception (as mentioned above) were the sea faring outings organised by the diving school.
